After crowning mother nature mid season champion after the speedway suffered it's seventh rainout of the season on Thursday, July 3rd Tyler County Speedway regretfully has had to cancel the Eve of Destruction 5 set to take place on Saturday Night, July 5^th as steady rainfall over the last couple of weeks have left the infield too saturated to safely put on a show. Racing action will continue next Saturday Night, July 12^th as the IRS Racing Series comes back to town for the running of the Eaton/Childers King of the Ring race, with all armbands from the June 21^st event being honored. Also on the card will be the rescheduled make up pure stock and mod lite features from June 14^th and huge fireworks display at intermission.
