Labor Day weekend, the great State of West Virginia and the Hillbilly 100 has been a perfect match for the racing community since it's beginning in 1967 at the Legendary Pennsboro Speedway. In 1998 the Hillbilly 100 moved to it's current home, the Tyler County Speedway and the racing world has witnessed what fans have proclaimed as the "must see" 100 lap dirt late model event of the year. The longest running and largest one day purse in America!

The 40th Annual Hillbilly 100 will return to the Tyler County Speedway once again.! America's oldest major late model event will be ran entirely under the lights once again. The Annual Hillbilly 50 will be ran on Saturday Night, August 30th with the 40th running of the Hillbilly 100 to be held on Sunday Night August 31 st as the Lucas Oil Dirt Car Series will make a return visit to the speedway for the richest one day purse in America that will see drivers from all over the country do battle on Tyler County Speedway's historical 1/4 mile bullring, against some of the most talented local hot shoes, for an astounding winners share of $40,000 up for grabs on labor day weekend!
